Mom Breast Feeding Child

The last thing any mother would want in her life is to find themselves in a newspaper due to prosecution with a title such as "Mom Breast Feeding Child".  Many people believe it should be considered indescent exposure.  People who have experience as parents understand that it is actually just a means of nurturing an innocent child. Not only does it provide nurishment for the child, it is excellent for the mother/child relationship.

In many places around the country, pamphlets are more than abundant on breast feeding.  In New York, they seemed to be everywhere.  Unfortunately here in Maryland, we don’t seem to have come across breast feeding pamphlets like we used to up in Saratoga Springs. Granted we haven’t visited a local hospital, we have decided to do a little homework on the subject. Below is a quote on what’s very important for a family to know about "Mom Breast Feeding Child" on the eastern or western shore:  Title 20, Subtitle 801(a).

Quoted from http://mlis.state.md.us/asp/web_statutes.asp?ghg&20-801:

MGA Statutes Text Page 1

§20–801.(a)A mother may breast-feed her child in any public or private location in which the mother and child are authorized to be.(b)A person may not restrict or limit the right of a mother to breast-feed her child.
