Selective Coloring In Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2

Special effects can be a real bonus to your portfolio.  Knowing when you want it to fit into your own style of photography is completely up to you, but having the technique down is even better since you will always have the tool on hand.  I feel this technique shown in this video is one of those tools that’s at least worth knowing, but not necessarily needed for every major project.

Personally, selective coloring is something I don’t often feel a need to play with in my work.  On the other hand I know people who love to use it and its great.  Hey, its your Lightroom:  have fun!

As an added bonus, I’ve included a photo for you to play with on your own (Click Here). Its the face of a book I found at the local Renensance Festival here in Maryland this year.  You’ll absolutely love the surprise you get when you bring the saturation up on the eyes.  Its a great thing to show your friends as to what possibilities exist.
